A Resolution ALREADY!?!?!
Yes. That's right, folks. I have already decided what my jewelry resolution will be for the new year. Does that make me a little bit crazy? Probably. But I'm totally okay with that. ;) We all know I'm a little bit crazy anyway, so you really shouldn't be surprised.
But... I'm going to need your help with it. I need you to pester me about it if I'm not sticking to it. Deal? Cool. Thanks. I knew I could count on you. =D
So... here's what I came up with:
Each week I'm going to try a new pattern/technique. I'm going to POST PICTURES of it, too. (Because, seriously, I'm LAME-O when it comes to posting pictures regularly) So keep an eye out for totally new pieces from me each week, starting after the new year. The holidays are far too crazy to start it now.
And be sure to call me on it if I'm not getting it done. I'm really excited for this. I always find new projects that I'm going to try, but I get distracted and forget about them. So now I get to pull some of those articles, etc., out and give them a go.
It's going to be totally stellar. Just wait and see. ;)

Displays!
I've been searching the internet for a while now, trying to find some ideas for new displays. So... I thought I knew what I wanted to do, so I went in search of my supplies. I spent a LOT of time in Hobby Lobby (listening to A. make the necessary animal noise any time he saw an animal on the decorative stuff) I totally hit the jackpot. Didn't really buy what I had planned on buying, but that's beside the point. ;) I'm really excited to try out my new stuff this coming weekend. Wish me luck!

More Craft Fairs!
I tell you what, I never thought I would see the day when I would have to pick and choose on craft fairs. I've never really been invited to do any, but this year I've had several approach me. So THANK YOU! to all of you that passed my info along. I can't tell you what it means to me that you all would think enough of my "business" that you would do that.
Same goes for all of my new "likes" on Facebook. I can't believe that I'm inching up to 300 fans!
So Thanks to all of you that have mentioned me to someone else, for whatever reason. <3

Again???
It appears I spend a lot of time telling you all that I'm BACK on blogger. Sad. Facebook is definitely the easier way for me to stay on top of things, but I'll do my best to get back on the blogging bandwagon. ;)
Things have been going fairly well for me lately. The Millard West Craft Fair went fairly well. It was really nice to have some friends in on the action, too. It was a LOT of fun. =) The Maplewood UMC potato bake/vendor fair went okay, too. It's always fun to sell to people I know.
So... overall, things are very happy. I may not be buying my boots just yet (those will be my first paycheck to myself EVER!) but I think I'll be showing them off sometime in the very near future. =D
As always, if you know anyone interested in hosting a party, or someone getting married, etc., please send them my way! I really enjoy both of those sides of B. Accessorized.
Thanks for reading.

Watch out!
Hello again, my friends! It's been a while. But I wanted to give you a heads up on what is going on my the world of B. Accessorized. =) I'm working on a couple of "lines" in my jewelry that will be coming out in the fall. Hopefully there will be some sneak peeks sometime soon.
Here's the breakdown:
Child of Mine: A line of little girl jewelry. Besides the basics of bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, there will also be some matching Mother/Daughter sets. Guaranteed to be suitable for every age.
Wear Your Faith: Lots of crosses to show the world that you love God. I'm working on some elegant "colors of faith" pieces as well.
I'm Yours: Wedding jewelry! Crystals, pearls, or whatever you want your wedding jewelry to be. My goal is to make something special for your special day, but also something you and your wedding party 1`can wear over and over again.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know! And feel free to pass on word of B. Accessorized. =)

Name Your Price!
Sometime in April I'm going to have an open house. A super special open house. A "Name Your Price" Open House. That's right. I'm letting YOU tell ME what you want to pay for the pieces you choose. (as long as you play nice and don't offer like $1 or something)
Why am I doing this?
I have a few reasons. One is because I have a lot more inventory than I would like. Another is that I want to start exploring some new ways to make jewelry, and to do that I need to sell some things so I can pay for my new adventures. =)
So please keep an eye out for when I get this open house scheduled. And for those of you that can't make it on the day I choose, you will be more than welcome to set up a time after the OH and you'll still get to name your price. I'm really excited for it! So please watch for further details.
Woot!
Peace.

Name Hunt!
Hey everyone! Once upon a time, I had all of my pieces named. Well, most of them had names. Anyway, I want to rename all of them, and I need your help. So go check out my pictures, either here or on FB, and post your idea as a comment on the picture. You can be as creative as you want, or even use your own name (my sister has a necklace named after her.) You can even ask your kids what they think good names are. I make no promises that the ideas will be used, but they will certainly be considered. =) Thanks everyone!

Back in Action
That's how I'm feeling the last couple of days. Like I'm back in action. Awesome. So what have I been up to the last few months? I bet you're just glued to your seat waiting to find out. ;) WAAAAYYYY back in Nov. I did two shows. One small one at my church that went very well. Better than expected. Then I did the big giant scary craft fair at Northwest. That one... not so good. At least I made more than I paid to participate! And overall it was a good experience. And in Dec. I was invited to join an open house by my lovely friend Jene' That actually went pretty well. I have come to the conclusion that I do best when there's no competition. It's a little bit of a sad realization, but an honest one. And I think I'm okay with it. And let's face it... when there are 800 million jewelry makers at a single craft fair, it's not likely that I'm going to really stand out.
OH! I almost forgot to add... I made the jewelry for a friend of a friend's wedding. That was super fun. I really enjoyed it. I thought it turned out really well. I had assumed that I would just be making it for the bridesmaids, thinking that no bride is going to risk getting some crappy jewelry for her wedding day. But I was wrong! She asked me to make hers, too. It really made me nervous, but I THINK I met her expectations. Or at least came close. I wouldn't mind doing more wedding jewelry in the future. It's so fun and purdy. =D
Okay, so now what am I going to do with all this new-found knowledge? I'm not really sure yet. hehe. I'm hoping to do another large craft fair this spring. Probably a diferent one, though. I'm going to readjust my prices on a few things, but I still think I have kept my prices pretty reasonable. And I want to start having a little more focus with what I make. I'll still have a plethera of randomness, since it seems to suit me and I like offering a variety, but I really want to have a focus somewhere in all of that mishmash.
So what will be my focus? GLAD YOU ASKED. =) I'm going to try to really expand my kid line. Little girls need little jewelry. The other focus is that I am going to start a faith line. I am proud to be a Christian, and while not everyone feels the same, I think it's something worth making.
And I would also like to find some more people to host B. Accessorized parties. I really enjoyed the one that I did (THANK YOU LAURA!) So hopefully I will find some hostesses that are willing to take a chance. I know I can't offer as many discounts and freebies as the big companies, but I give what I can.
I'm also making some donations to the MY OMAHA MOMMIES raffle. That always excites me. And I love that group! So hopefully my donations will earn them some $$$ =D
Well, I think that's it in a nutshell folks. Hopefully I will be posting more frequently again, and posting more pictures. Peace out, my friend. Thanks for reading. =)
